Wheat in the WRVP fields continues to progress, but a slow pace. Much slower, in fact, compared to the unusually early crop we had last year. Crop condition continues to look good for the most part and will continue to improve as spring nitrogen is applied. A few of the fields received their first application last week just prior to the weekend rainfall. Several other fields have applications planned but will need to wait for the soil to dry.
