2019 ARC-CO Payment Rates
Author: Scott Stiles, Extension Economist

The final Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) payment rates for 2019 are now available from FSA for most of the major commodities.

ARC-CO payment rates for each county and commodity can be downloaded at this link: 2019 ARC-County Benchmark Yields and Revenue as of October 9, 2020 (Note: 2019 ARC-CO payment rates are shown in the far right column of the spreadsheet). Each column can be filtered for state, county and crop specific data.

The 2019 PLC payment rates for each program commodity can be downloaded at this link: 2019 PLC Payment Rates (Note: PLC payment rates are shown in the 2nd column from the right).

For 2019 and 2020, practically all cotton, peanut and rice base acres were enrolled in PLC.  Final cotton and peanut PLC payment rates for 2019 are available.  Final PLC rates for long and medium grain rice remain to be announced by FSA.

Under the current Farm Bill a higher percentage of corn, wheat and grain sorghum base acres was enrolled in PLC and final payment rates for these commodities have been released.  As in the 2014 Farm Bill, soybean base acres generally remained in the ARC-county program.

As a reminder,  the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) payments will be made on 85% of base acres of a commodity and reduced by a budget sequestration percentage.
