The USDA’s Risk Management Agency (RMA) reminds Arkansas producers that the final day to purchase federal crop insurance for wheat is September 30.
Current policyholders and uninsured growers who wish to buy a policy for the 2021 crop year must make all decisions on crop insurance coverage by the sales closing date for that crop.
The 2021 projected price approved for Yield Protection and Revenue Protection plans is $5.54 per bushel. This is up from last year’s $4.86 per bushel.
Crop Insurance Resources: A list of crop insurance agents is available at all USDA Service Centers and online at the RMA Agent Locator.
