Author: Bill Robertson, Cotton Agronomist

By Bill Robertson, Cotton Agronomist

Our annual cotton scout school will be conducted by The University of Arkansas System Division of Ag Cooperative Extension Service on a computer near you.  In response to our changing times, we ask that you join us Thursday, June 4th at 8:30 AM for our virtual cotton scouting school.

Participation is free, but registration is required. For more information on using Zoom, email or contact your county agent.

We will cover scouting and management for insect and disease pests, cotton growth and development, and basic pesticide safety. A live question and answer session with Extension Specialists will also be a part of the program.

The training will serve as an introduction to insect monitoring for new scouts and as a review for experienced scouts and producers.  This webinar meets the requirements for continuing education course units for certified crop advisors.

We are looking forward to your participation.
