The Arkansas 2018 No. 2 Yellow Corn Cash Market mostly trended slightly lower over the past week. Similar to the previous week, a weekend gain of 4 cents pushed the market to an opening price of $3.62 this past Monday, an improvement of 4 cents over the previous week opening day price.  The market weakened slightly most subsequent days, but remained within a 7 cent span for the entire week (Figure 1).  Price ended the week at a statewide average of $3.57, an overall 1 cent loss from the previous week closing mark.  Highest daily individual market price for the week was $3.78 at Pine Bluff on Thursday.  Low quote of the week was $3.47 at both Old Town/Elaine and West Memphis on Friday.  Closing day prices ranged from the low of $3.47 at both Old Town/Elaine and West Memphis to a high of $3.77 at Pine Bluff. The 30 cent range was 5 cents wider than the previous week closing range and exactly recovered the narrowing seen in previous week.  Seven markets continued to provide price quotes each day of the week.
