In the south, the Jefferson County field has been harvested. Several fields are draining. The Desha County field reached threshold on rice stink bugs (RSB). Disease pressure continues to be a non-issue in late rice.
In the north, Randolph is mature and drying to harvest moisture. Lawrence is drained with Jackson and Woodruff soon to follow. Craighead (furrow irrigated) continues to have extremely low RSB counts but grain heads blanked by billbugs are being observed scattered across the field.
