In the south, the Jefferson County field has reached maturity and harvested is expected early next week. Several fields are approaching drain dates. Rice stink bug (RSB) populations have remained low on all fields. Disease pressure continues to be a non-issue.
In the north, one program field (White Co.) was treated for rice stink bugs (RSB) this week. Randolph is drained and drying down for harvest. Lawrence, a clay soil field, is approaching its drain date.
