In the south, the Jefferson County field has ceased pumping water. Rice stink bugs (RSB) have increased and three fields have now been sprayed including Chicot, Jefferson and Arkansas. Fields range from boot to 100% heading. Positive stops for disease have been at low levels.
In the north, Randolph, Lawrence and Jackson have been treated for rice stink bugs (RSB) thus far. Program fields have not required treatment for sheath blight and at this point and most have now developed beyond risk of significant economic damage from the disease.
