The Arkansas 2018 No. 2 Yellow Corn Cash Market declined 11 cents over the past weekend and traded all week within a 6 cent span (Figure 1). Corn opened on Monday at $3.67, 15 cents under the previous Monday level, and ended the trading week at $3.70, 8 cents under the previous Friday closing statewide average. Highest daily individual market price over the past week was $3.90 at Pine Bluff on Thursday. Low quote of the week was $3.47 at Little Rock on Monday. Closing day prices ranged from a low of $3.48 at Little Rock to a high of $3.88 at Pine Bluff. These ending quotes represented a range of 40 cents, unchanged from the previous week closing range. Just four markets ended the week providing price quotes as Helena, West Memphis, and Old Town/Elaine dropped out of reporting and Osceola reentered after providing no report on Monday.
