The Arkansas Soil Health Alliance (ASHA) Annual Meeting will be held on March 18, 2019 at the Brinkley Convention Center, Brinkley, AR. Registration starts at 8:30am and the meeting starts at 9:00am. The morning will be dedicated to presentations followed by lunch and a field tour at the Chappell Farms nearby. There is no fee to attend. Lunch will be provided so attendees are asked to RSVP to Alice Weeks at email@example.com or Debbie Moreland at firstname.lastname@example.org by 5 pm on Friday March 15.
The ASHA 2019 Annual Meeting will host Jimmy Emmons, Oklahoma Soil Health Champion and Adam Daughtery, Tennessee NRCS as speakers. Presentations will include water infiltration, moisture sensors and cover crops. Other speakers include Dr. Trent Roberts, Dave Freeze, Adam Eades, Carey Robertson, Lee Riley, Mike Hamilton, Robby Bevis and Adam Chappell.
Producers and consultants need all of the information they can get in today’s agriculture & economic environment and this should be a good start to the 2019 farming year. Great presentations, free lunch and farm tour – it just doesn’t get better than that.
