Arkansas 2018 No. 2 Yellow Corn Cash Market lost 1 cent over the past weekend, but then proceeded to post modest gains throughout the trading week.  The market opened on Monday at a statewide average of $3.81 and added 1 to 3 cents on each succeeding day.  The market closed for the week at a statewide average of $3.86 on Friday, a 4 cent improvement from the previous Friday statewide closing average (Figure 1).  Highest daily individual market price over the past week was $3.95 at Pine Bluff on Friday.  Low quote of the week was $3.74 at Little Rock on both Monday and Thursday.  The market reporting expanded as West Memphis and Pine Bluff resumed providing price quotes as the week progressed.  End-of-the-week quotes saw Friday closing day prices ranging from a low of $3.75 at Little Rock to the high of $3.95 at Pine Bluff.  The ending quotes represented a range of 20 cents, a 7 cent widening compared to the previous week closing range, but a little uncertain due to the addition of quotes from the two new markets.
