Bollworm Trap Report 6-22-18
Author: Glenn Studebaker, Extension Entomologist/IPM Coordinator

Bollworm Trap
Weekly pheromone trap catches by county are reported in the graphs below. Numbers have dropped in many areas, but are still high in the south and central portion of the state. Saying numbers have dropped is relative, considering they have dropped from a high of 1000+ moths down to 200-300 moths….still a good number of moths. Areas in the northern part of the state have not seen as big a spike with highs being in the 200 to 300 range.
