Rainfall was again spotty this past week ranging from zero at several fields to 1.55” at Greene. Most fields in south Arkansas have received at least one irrigation while Jefferson has received 4, however it’s rapidly getting to R5, so water usage is peaking. Some northern fields are close to initial irrigations. Washington county still has yet to get planted. Insects remain at very low levels but have kicked up many bollworm moths while walking fields in south Arkansas. Diseases, as expected, are not liking this weather and haven’t been a problem.
