USDA-NASS released its monthly Crop Production report on September 12, 2017. The table below includes information for Arkansas’ 2017 harvested acreage and yield forecasts as of September 1, 2017.
In comparison to the August Crop Production report, no changes were made to Arkansas’ 2017 forecast corn, rice and sorghum yields. However, the state average cotton yield forecast was reduced by 7 pounds per acre to 1,096 pounds. The state average soybean yield forecast was increased by 2 bushels per acre to a record 51 bushels.
