Two more fields were planted this week, which brings the total now up to 14. All fields in southern Arkansas are now planted. Rainfall was very sporadic with several fields receiving none to 2.55” at Jefferson. Several early planted fields have moved to R2, full flower. Winds this week have made herbicide applications very tricky thus most are getting delayed. Fields in south Arkansas are in need of rainfall this weekend or irrigation will initiate early next week for a few. Refer to table below for field specific information.
