Four more fields were planted (Ashley, Drew 2, Lee, and Phillips 1) over the past week to bring the total to 12 out of 15 now planted. Hopefully remaining fields get planted soon. Jefferson county was the first to flower. Rainfall amounts ranged from zero at several fields to .85” at Jefferson. Rain seemed to fall where it was not needed and didn’t fall where it was. As of now, all fields are very clean of weeds, with the exception of Lincoln. Please refer to table for field-specific information.
