Using the correct form to submit soil samples
Author: Leo Espinoza, Associate Professor & Extension Soil Scientist

As we get ready to start taking soil samples to be analyzed for fertilizer recommendations, it is very important to make sure the proper form to submit the soil samples is used.

Before completing form CES 435, please make sure not to use forms that were printed before January 2014. On August 5, 2014 the Marianna Soil Testing Laboratory stopped accepting any soil samples submitted with the old CES 435 forms, due to a printing error. You can find the printed date at the bottom left of the form.

So please double check and make sure you use the proper form. This will prevent any unwanted delays on the analysis of your soil samples.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call the lab at 870-295-2851.
