Soybean Research Verification Program Weekly Update – May 16, 2014
Author: Chris Grimes, Program Associate - Soybean/Wheat Verification Coordinator

Update courtesy of Chris Grimes and Chad Norton, Soybean Verification Program Coordinators

General We weren’t able to get anymore fields planted this week due to rainfall. Rainfall amounts averaged about 2” across the state. The fields that have been planted are doing well although the colder temperatures that we are having has slowed the growth. The remaining fields are scheduled to be planted when it gets dry enough to get across them. Herbicide applications that were recommended have been a challenge due to windy and wet conditions this week.
