Wheat Research Verification Program Update for November 2, 2012
Author: Arkansas Row Crops

Most fields involved in the Wheat Research Verification Program have been planted.  The remaining fields will be planted very soon.  Please refer to the table below for the progress of each WRVP field.

The Arkansas Research Verification Programs represent a public exhibition of the implementation of research-based Extension recommendations in an actual field scale farming environment for cotton, rice, soybeans, and wheat.  Since the Research Verification Programs are subject to public scrutiny and funding, generally with producer monies, Extension makes a very strong attempt to implement these recommendations in a timely manner in order to fulfill the objectives of the program.  The Wheat Research Verification Program is coordinated by Chris Grimes and Steve Kelley.
