Rainfall during the week of July 10 gave some areas in the state a much needed break from irrigation, while some areas were not as lucky. Irrigation efforts have resumed keeping the crops moving forward. We had anticipated a large increase in bollworm numbers, but as of this date only one field in Cross County required treatment. Three fields are scheduled for a fungicide application due to frogeye leaf spot.
