Soybean Research Verification Report – August 26, 2011
Author: Chris Grimes, Program Associate - Soybean/Wheat Verification Coordinator

A majority of the fields in the verification program received a good rain since the last report, but there are a few the missed the rain and required irrigation to keep the plants moving forward. Bollworm numbers have exploded in the verification fields again with loopers building in the southern part of the state. The majority of the fields required treatment for bollworms this week. There was a couple more fields that irrigation was terminated on this week.
