Soybean Research Verification Update – August 19, 2011
Author: Chris Grimes, Program Associate - Soybean/Wheat Verification Coordinator

The majority of the fields in the verification program received a good rain since the last report, but there are a few that missed the rain and required irrigation to keep the plants moving forward. We had one field that irrigation was terminated and a couple more that are getting close. Insects are sporadic with a couple of fields requiring treatment and some getting real close. Disease pressure remains low this week.
