Soybean Research Verification Update – August 12, 2011
Author: Chris Grimes, Program Associate - Soybean/Wheat Verification Coordinator

Some of the fields in the verification program received a good rain mainly south of I 40 and in the Arkansas River Valley while others missed the opportunity and irrigation continues. The bollworm pressure was low again this week in most of the fields, but we did have a couple of late planted fields that required treatment this week. The lower temperatures this week, especially at night, have taken some stress off the plants. Diseases have not been an issue thus far in the program.
